A Tick-Tack Nightmare

Hello Amigos!

I love these pictures. I'm going to get an animal mask and buy some glitter and take some photos like this. Pretty cool hey?

I had a thought today. How annoying/ awkward is it when you offer someone a tick-tack or a mint? I never know how to give it to them. Do you let them pick it out with their fingers? Where have their fingers been that day? I dont want them feeling up all of the other mints. 

 Do you try and pour them into their hand where the entire packet of tick-tacks just cascade out?

Do you put your hand under their hand to steady it, and then try and bang the packet on their palm until one falls out?

Or do you touch it first and then give it to them?

Ah, everything seems so socially awkward.

How cool is the idea of putting flower in little vases/ jars and tying them to a tree with some ribbon. I love it.

For my next garden party, I am going to attempt to do that.

Alice in Wonderland

To really see these gorgeous frocks in all their glamour and glory you need to click on the photograph to enlarge it. I did try to make them bigger but they got cut in half by the border. This series is a fabulous collaboration of designers (Karl Lagerfield, Viktor and Rolf etc) who have made their interpretation of the dress Alice gets lost in Wonderland wearing. Personal favourite would be the last photo.

This blog sucks

This blog sucks!

Yeah man I know.

These were the thoughts going through my head as I looked at my blog.

I dont like how the pictures dont match. I like things matching.

I shall try harder from now on. I might even get people commenting real things instead of 'Hey! Cool blog. Follow ours at ......". I so know you dont think its cool. Its still kind of nice you copy and pasted something though.

Devils Advocate

I know a girl who is very self righteous. It seems she believes she is above everyone else who has ever had a bad thought cross their mind. Smugly moralistic. It annoys me. It does not annoy me that she has opinions(which is fantastic), but more so that she feels the need to stop and comment on everything that is, or may be, politically incorrect. Also slightly hypocritical in the sense that in Example A, this model is the epitome of beauty... but in this instance, skinny people are demeaning and horrid (because I want to defend voluptuous girls). It seems like she is a lovely person (she sure does seem happy) but this trait just irks me. I feel like there must be a realist side to this girl for surely she is too smart to always think the best of the world. Sometimes it is life to just think 'this fucking sucks' and not have to find the best angle to view it from. Because sometimes life does suck, but most of the time its awesome.  

Just get on with life and enjoy it. Pick your battles, not everything needs to be addressed because after a while, no one will listen to the things that are actually important.
