Island Holiday

I'm risking sounding like a teenage girl when I say this but how cute! Or if I really want to get into the confused-teenage-esq state 'how caaaute!'. I'm not sure of the story between Sean O'pry and Madisyn (or if there even is one) but the atmosphere and story created for the video makes me want them to be together and live on an island.

The outfits the models are sporting are an eclectic mix of amazing. I feel that designs are quite 'free spirited' and relaxed. It helps that both the models aesthetically appealing (in other words, ridiculously good looking) but I think the clothes almost take on a personality of their own.

People sometimes throw around terms like 'power suit'. As if the sharp cuts of a jacket will make you more powerful or confident. I feel these clothes would make people feel unrestrained and liberated from the conventional way of life. Can an outfit really have that much power?

Denmark

I'm moving to Denmark next year which is terrifying and thrilling at the same time. I keep reading conflicting things about the Danes. One article will say that they do not appreciate loud gestures and that they will not hide how they feel about you. Another will state that they are lovely, friendly people who will welcome you. The third will say that they have a 'snobbish' view of foreigners and that it is hard to get into their close knit social circles. I realise that it is impossible to encapsulate a whole nation full of people with different political, social and economic views in one article but I am trying to get an understanding of social and cultural norms... which is proving very hard!

If anyone had ever visited Denmark, I would love to hear of your experiences there!

One thing is for sure, the Danes seem to have great style. Here are some of my favourite photos from Copenhagen Street Style

Lost Blogs

Oh no! I lost all the blogs that I was following because I changed my email address!

I feel like a pet has died. I so carefully created that list. It was full of amazing and wonderful ideas and inspirations.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

If not, I will have to start again. Any ideas?

BOYS OF MILAN AND PARIS: FALL/WINTER 2011/12//

Boys of Milan & Paris FW2011 from Justin Wu on Vimeo.

Here is a lovely video, ney, a fantastic video. Once you have watched it, there will be no way you can reject my apology for not being a consistent blogger! For some ridiculous reason, I am imagining everyone in Europe to look like this! Unrealistic? Yes. I'm still hopeful.

So my reason for not up-dating for so long is a good one. I don't think it could get any better. I will not bore you with the details because a) this isn't a diary and b) I don't like sympathy. So you will just have to trust that I had a great reason. I will try to have more regular posts and shall try and keep them interesting!
